OUR MISSION:

The Advocate Safehouse Project's mission is to promote healthy relationships free from violence through education, advocacy, empowerment, and safehousing.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

The 11th Annual Mother's Day Mile will be held on the Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 1 pm.  The one mile race benefits the domestic and sexual violence programs of the Advocate Safehouse Project.  Each participant receives a goody-bag, a fresh finish line rose, a piece of homemade pie, a chance to win age group awards crafted by the Imani Women of Eldoret Kenya, and the opportunity to shop under the Big Tent at our huge Gift Basket Silent Auction!  The one mile race is held in four waves and includes a walking non-timed wave.  Registration will be available in April 2010 at www.active.com, in person at Glenwood Medical Associates or at www.glenwoodmedical.com, or at www.advocatesafehouse.org, by calling (970) 945-2632 for a registration form.
