Last year's Mother's Day Mile was a huge success both in our fundraising and in friend-raising!  We had over 730 participants, 150 volunteers, and another 100 spectators!  We made over $21,000 for the domestic and sexual violence programs of the Advocate Safehouse Project. Special thanks to ALL our fit and fast racers; our primary sponsors Glenwood Medical Associates and US Bank of Glenwood Springs; our loyal sponsors of Richard and Marianne Reinisch Foundation, Valley View Hospital, Flower Mart, Mona Lisa Boutique, Somethin' Sweet Candy Plus, Post Independent;  the Imani Workshops of Eldoret, Kenya; and our volunteers and community for supporting women and men facing social, economic, and legal issues of domestic and sexual violence.
