2010 Mother's Day Mile - May 9th The 2010 Mother's Day Mile was a huge success both in our fundraising and friendraising! We had over 700 race participants, 100 volunteers, and another 100 spectators! We made over $16,000 for the domestic and sexual violence programs of the Advocate Safehouse Project. Special thanks to all our racers, our sponsors, volunteers, and community for supporting women and men facing the social, economic, and legal issues of domestic and sexual violence. For Race Results: click here The 12th Annual Mother's Day Mile will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 1 pm. The one mile race benefits the domestic and sexual violence programs of the Advocate Safehouse Project. Pre registrants will receives a goody-bag with our famous reusable shopping bag. All participants will receive a fresh finish line rose, a piece of homemade pie, a chance to win age group awards crafted by the Imani Women of Eldoret Kenya, and the opportunity to shop under the Big Tent at our huge Gift Basket Silent Auction! The one mile race is held in four waves and includes a walking non-timed wave.
